Bio

Raised on the greens and fairways of the western Rockies, Dan Tolson spent every summer of his childhood and teenage years learning the ins and outs of golf course maintenance from his father, former golf course superintendent at Stock Farm Club in Hamilton MT.  Soaking up his father’s expertise, he knew early in life that his natural talent, skills and passions were best used to create a pristine golf experience.

While earning his B.A. in Turf Science, Dan won numerous scholarships and awards making him a top graduate at Colorado State University.  Dan has developed a diverse skill set through more than 21 years in the industry ranging from the very beginning stages of golf course construction through operational development on world class mountain courses.  Dan enjoys leading by example to motivate his staff and solve problems.  Integrity, resourcefulness and a strong work ethic are his guiding principles.

Jackson Hole is the perfect backdrop for outdoor enthusiasts, and Dan takes every opportunity possible to enjoy it.  With deep roots in fly fishing, hunting and skiing, Dan is also an accomplished photographer, cyclist, and nordic skier.  He loves to spend time with his family camping and exploring the magnificent mountains and rivers of western Wyoming on horseback.

Dan met his wife, Dancy, of San Antonio, TX, in Vail CO.  Now the proud parents of James Dunn (12), twin girls Ellie and Olivia (11), Jonathan (8), and Jack (2).  They are excited to be growing a family in Jackson Hole.
